Job Description
Capital on Tap is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team in Poland. The candidate will be responsible for manual and automated testing, contributing to best practices throughout the SDLC, and working closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers. The QA Engineer will also run POCs to improve various aspects of QA.Role involves:
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of automated test scenarios.
  • Driving continuous improvement and recommending enhancements to test processes.
  • Investigating user problems, testing bugs, and creating bug reports.
  • Developing a strong understanding of products and performing hands-on testing.
  • Supporting engineering colleagues to promote team-wide testing responsibility.
  • Prioritising tasks and managing workload in a fast-moving environment.
  • Reviewing design proposals, acceptance criteria, and recommending improvements.
Requirements:
  • Proven software quality assurance experience with web and mobile applications.
  • Experience developing tests for functional, regression, performance, and ad-hoc testing.
  • Pragmatic approach to raising bugs with a good understanding of risk and impact.
  • Understanding of the full E2E impact of changes.
  • Experience with C# or similar OOPs languages.
  • Experience with JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks like Selenium Webdriver, RestSharp, PostMan, Appium, xUnit, NUnit.
  • Experience working with and testing REST APIs.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and continuous testing practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
  • Proficient in SQL Server queries and scripting experience.
