Job Description
Ethos is seeking a Senior Insurance Partnerships Manager to lead relationships with key insurance partners and develop new ones. This role involves working closely with product, actuarial, underwriting, engineering, and sales teams to evolve Ethos' offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the US life insurance market, a strong industry network, and the ability to influence partners and capitalize on market opportunities.
Role involves:
- Spearheading management of assigned life insurance partnerships
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver new partnerships and bring new products to market
- Working with engineering teams to implement core business requirements
- Driving carrier and Ethos-driven initiatives to enhance offerings and support carrier needs
- Proactively researching and evaluating potential new products and partnerships
Requirements:
- Bias for action and comfort managing partner relationships
- Self-motivation and persistence to drive outcomes
- Deep knowledge of the US life insurance market and products
- Strong network within the life insurance industry
- Prior experience working with engineering teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Extensive US life insurance experience
- FSA (or similar) preferred
- Reinsurance or Life Insurance Consulting background a plus
