Senior Analyst, FP&A - Analysis and Management Reporting

Job Description

WPP is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their FP&A team in Mexico City. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and support to drive informed decision-making across the organization. This position involves compiling, analysing, and interpreting financial data, developing financial models, preparing reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to provide valuable insights into business performance.

The Senior FP&A Analyst will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with other members of the finance team. WPP offers a hybrid work environment, requiring teams to be in the office around four days a week to foster creativity, collaboration, and connection.

Role Involves:

• Compiling and analysing large datasets for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Preparing monthly management reports, quarterly trading analysis presentations, and board reporting materials.
• Coordinating and consolidating proforma submissions across networks.
• Performing variance analysis against forecasts and budgets.
• Supporting the monitoring of financial and business performance metrics.
• Responding to ad-hoc queries from internal stakeholders, external agencies, and partners.
• Identifying opportunities to improve existing FP&A processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or equivalent positions.
• Fully qualified in accounting qualification (or part qualified on way to full qualification).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong financial planning and analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High integrity and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
