Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join their growing Outbound sales team in Montreal. This role focuses on generating and qualifying leads, serving as the initial point of contact between potential clients and the Lightspeed brand. The Sales Development Representative will contribute to Lightspeed's mission of providing innovative technological tools to hoteliers and restaurateurs.
  • Identifying potential clients and presenting products via phone, email, and in person.
  • Engaging and qualifying new prospects through various channels, including phone, email, text, and social media.
  • Collaborating with teams, managing the transfer to Account Executives for software demonstrations.
  • Working with Marketing and Sales teams on strategies to develop the sales pipeline.
  • Consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Experience in sales or a call center, with a drive to exceed targets.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of technology and the ability to explain it clearly.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Entrepreneurial and agile mindset.
  • Ideally, experience in the retail, hospitality, or e-commerce sector.
  • Ideally, experience in payment terminals or other technologies.
