Job Description
Razorpay, founded in 2014 by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur, is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India. Razorpay is seeking a Lead Product Designer to drive product and design ideation, planning, and prioritization across a diverse range of products and features. The Lead Product Designer will play a critical role in solving problems through good design, not just in aesthetics but also in process evolution. They will own and drive products to completion, adhering to design principles and producing multiple alternatives for each decision.Role involves:
- Driving product and design ideation, planning, and prioritization.
- Conducting user research and creating detailed user journeys.
- Defining design strategies based on data analysis.
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Extending visual design systems and pattern libraries.
- Leading creative thinking and conducting design reviews.
- Providing thought leadership on usability and user-centered design.
- Mentoring and inspiring a team of designers.
- Brainstorming and creating new directions for Razorpay.
- Envisaging and running strategic, design-only initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in designing digital products.
- 2+ years of experience in leading a team of designers.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Understanding of product and business goals.
- Understanding of behavioral analytics and data-driven decisions.
- Expertise in UI and interaction design.
- Experience with Mobile applications.
- Understanding of Frontend principles.
- Experience in user research, user-needs validation, and usability evaluation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
