Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Product Designer for a fixed-term contract within their APAC Hospitality Product & Technology team. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading the design of user experiences for hospitality clients, focusing on customer satisfaction and business outcomes. They will work in a fast-paced environment, addressing complex challenges and setting UX direction for the team. The role involves building relationships across disciplines and leveraging diverse perspectives to improve team performance.

Role involves:

  • Leading high-level project work and facilitating design workshops.
  • Creating intuitive systems, flows, and interfaces for hospitality clients.
  • Transforming ambiguous concepts into impactful solutions.
  • Leveraging and contributing to the design system.
  • Drawing insights from research and data to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborating across product, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Mentoring junior designers and promoting design thinking.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and releasing software products, with a focus on B2B SaaS solutions.
  • Experience designing software for the hospitality industry or complex service businesses.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.
  • Experience applying systems thinking to complex product ecosystems.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Experience conducting UX research and translating insights into design solutions.
  • Proficiency with collaborative tools including Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
