Job Description
TransferGo is seeking a Head of Compliance to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Head of Compliance will build and maintain the compliance program, act as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities, and provide reports to the Board and CEO. This role involves leading regulatory licensing efforts, monitoring legislative changes, and providing expert advice to business units. The ideal candidate will represent the company before state authorities and collaborate with teams to ensure compliant information handling.
Role involves:
- Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Building and maintaining the compliance program
- Acting as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities
- Providing reports to the Board and CEO
- Leading regulatory licensing efforts
- Monitoring legislative changes
- Providing expert advice to business units
- Representing the company before state authorities
- Collaborating with teams to ensure compliant information handling
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior compliance role
- A degree in Law
- Extensive knowledge of local and EU regulations
- Regulatory licensing and authorization experience
- Strong governance experience
- Exceptional communication skills in Lithuanian and English
- A track record of designing and implementing successful compliance programs
- Experience in monitoring regulatory change and evaluating compliance risks
