Senior Backend Developer

Job Description

Sourcescrub is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to manage the back end of their data platform application. The ideal candidate should navigate an evolving environment, embrace agile development, and integrate front-end components effectively. This is a full-time, contract position open to remote candidates within Europe.Role involves:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Developing and maintaining back-end services and APIs that power web applications.
• Ensuring the scalability and reliability of back-end services.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and efficiency.
• Integrating back-end components with front-end services.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in server-side languages such as C# and .NET framework (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of SQL and database management (5+ years).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git (5+ years).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ (3+ years).
• Experience with cloud services, specifically Azure (5+ years).
