Principal Engagement Manager

Job Description

Anaplan is seeking a Principal Engagement Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the success of strategic customers by leading complex implementations across Supply Chain, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Workforce Planning domains. The Principal Engagement Manager will operate at the intersection of delivery and advisory, managing escalations and acting as a trusted partner to both customer and internal stakeholders. This role requires a hands-on leader who can run multiple enterprise programs, ensure delivery within budget and scope, and recover projects that are off track.

• Lead end-to-end deployments of Anaplan solutions with internal teams and partners.
• Serve as the main point of contact for delivery, aligning with customer stakeholders.
• Navigate complex programs, ensuring delivery excellence while managing scope, risk, budget, and resources.
• Drive key project decisions on design, testing, timelines, and change management.
• Champion methodology to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
• Report on project status and portfolio health to internal and external leadership.

• Demonstrable program or project management experience across complex enterprise initiatives.
• Domain expertise in Supply Chain, FP&A, or Workforce Planning.
• Strong customer engagement skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
• Proven ability to deliver—and recover—large-scale projects within tight timelines and budgets.
• Agile project delivery experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for driving business outcomes.
