Job Description
Anaplan is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Applications Builder/Developer to join their Supply Chain Application team. This role involves developing both out-of-the-box and customizable applications on the Anaplan platform, focusing on supply chain use cases such as Demand, Inventory, Supply, and IBP/S&OP. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain principles, Anaplan model building expertise, and a keen attention to detail. This position requires excellent collaboration skills, the ability to manage model-building activities to completion, and a focus on delivering intuitive user experiences.

The role involves:
  • Building Supply Chain Applications by leveraging core Anaplan platform capabilities.
  • Partnering with Application Product Management to ensure requirements are understood.
  • Designing/architecting the modeling and UX to meet the requirements.
  • Ensuring new features are prepared to a high standard and supports a smooth UAT process.
  • Ensuring the user experience that sits across any features developed is intuitive and easy to use.
  • Producing model documentation and keeping up to date as new development takes place.

Requirements:
  • Diverse experience as Anaplan Model Builder, with 2+ years' hands on model building experience.
  • Level 3 certification preferred.
  • Experience with some of the wider facets of the Anaplan platform (PlanIQ, Optimizer, Workflow and Polaris etc) is useful but not essential.
  • Numerically literate, and likely to have a STEM undergraduate degree.
  • Ability to manage your model build activities through to completion.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on model-building best-practices and standards.
  • A focus on the end user experience is essential.
  • An ‘engineering mindset’ to Anaplan architecture; ensuring configurable functionality and pre-empting edge cases.
