Logistics Clerk at BDA

BDA is seeking a Logistics Clerk to join their team in Manila, Philippines. The Logistics Clerk will be responsible for verifying and processing payment authorizations for all logistics invoices. This role involves maintaining low volumes on freight suspense, issuing chargebacks, and sending warnings for non-compliant shipments. The role ensures accurate financial coding and efficient logistics operations within the company.

Responsibilities include:

• Coding invoices for payment using General Ledger (GL) coding.
• Auditing freight invoices against rate files for accuracy.
• Resolving unknown freight issues.
• Issuing supplier chargebacks for improper references and unauthorized shipping.
• Monitoring freight usage by suppliers and BDA personnel.
• Handling projects as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
• Acting as a logistics liaison in the BDA Philippines office.

Requirements:

• Comfortable with data and monotonous tasks.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Sense of ownership and strong initiative.
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily workload.
• Basic computer applications, primarily email.
• Accounts Payable or General Ledger Coding experience preferred.
• Logistics experience or background preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel.
