Job Description
Carta is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their rapidly growing Fund Administration team. This role involves partnering with top venture capital firms to streamline their financial accounting needs and contributing to Carta's goal of becoming the leading Fund Administration group. The Senior Fund Accountant will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, go-to-market, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leverage to clients by understanding and prioritizing their needs.
- Offer strategic support including capital calls, audit/tax support, and financial reporting.
- Bring transparency to founders, VCs, and LPs by helping them utilize Carta's tools and resources.
- Improve Carta's product and software through collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Consult with clients and implement Carta's Fund Administration software.
Requirements:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in providing best-in-class service.
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
- Understanding of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Fund Administration.
- Experience interpreting Limited Partnership Agreements.
- Interest in working on projects in a fast-paced environment.
