Senior Software Engineer II (Python, Guest Engagement)

Job Description

SpotOn is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II with strong Python skills to join their team in Krakow. The candidate will be responsible for modifying existing software, implementing new features, correcting errors, and improving performance. They will collaborate with analysts, developers, and programmers to design systems and ensure quality improvements.Role involves:

• Modifying existing software to implement new features.
• Correcting errors and improving performance.
• Collaborating with systems analysts and developers.
• Participating in code reviews and mentoring other developers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with modern Python.
• Experience with Python frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• SQL and NoSQL database skills.
• Knowledge of Python idioms and design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Familiarity with DevOps technologies: Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (min. B2 level).
• Experience with ES6 JavaScript, and React + Redux (plus).
• Knowledge of GO language (advantage).
