Role involves:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of platform and software engineers.
  • Driving technical strategy for distributed data infrastructure.
  • Guiding architectural decisions across infrastructure and application domains.
  • Establishing and optimizing engineering processes.
  • Overseeing the health and scaling of Cassandra clusters and other distributed data stores.
  • Managing team performance, career development, and growth.

  • Ensuring smooth operation of production systems through on-call rotations and incident management.

Requirements:
  • An experienced engineering leader with a strong technical background in distributed systems.
  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in the Software Engineering industry.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles.
  • Track record of creating collaborative environments.
  • Strong technical judgment.
  • Experience leading teams through production incidents.
  • Skilled at balancing technical excellence with practical delivery.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
