IT Support Engineer

Adyen is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive support to its teams and employees in resolving IT-related issues. In this role, the candidate will go beyond first-line support, showcasing their proactive nature and eagerness to take on additional responsibilities. With a hands-on attitude and a genuine passion for assisting others, they will play a vital role in optimizing the productivity of Adyen's dynamic workforce.

What this role involves:

• Working together with a worldwide team to support all employees with their IT-related questions.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting a wide range of IT challenges, starting from the initial setup of new users to providing assistance to colleagues with their IT inquiries.
• Optimizing processes and systems.
• Providing comprehensive support for Apple device issues, user and systems access, networking, and various other IT-related tasks.
• Enhancing global IT systems and functionalities, ensuring they remain up-to-date and aligned with evolving business needs.
• Proactively analyzing repetitive tasks and issues, employing automation techniques to streamline manual processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of experience in IT support.
• Strong experience in helping people troubleshoot their IT-related issues.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Experience administering internal services such as Google Suite, Zoom, OKTA, and LDAP.
• Experience managing a large fleet of MacOS corporate devices leveraged by enterprise systems like JAMF or similar.
• Experience with administrating onboarding sessions of new joiners and IT user training.
• Flexible team player with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Good understanding of up-to-date IT security practices.
• Experience with writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Must be in the office 5 days a week.
