Job Description

Zenvia is seeking a Data Engineering Specialist to join its Big Data team. The team is responsible for building and maintaining Zenvia's Big Data Platform, focusing on democratizing data access and empowering stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data architecture and organization, and will thrive in an autonomous environment where they can choose the best technologies.

Role involves:

• Designing a new data platform using cutting-edge technologies.
• Planning and coding data pipelines.
• Specifying table schemas and star schemas.
• Designing and implementing data governance practices.
• Testing and documenting analytical services.
• Maintaining data frameworks in production.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Software or Data Architect.
• Solid experience in Scala development.
• Solid experience in Python or Java development.
• Experience with Big Data solutions.
• Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with Spark or Flink.
• Experience with SQL query engines (Presto, Athena, Impala, Drill).
• Creativity, willingness to learn new technologies, and good communication skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
