Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Pushpay is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the operability, reliability, and performance of its production systems. The ideal candidate will solve complex infrastructure challenges and automate processes to improve software scalability.Role involves:

• Designing and developing high-quality systems and automation tools.
• Debugging and reviewing code and infrastructure issues.
• Improving CI/CD pipelines and monitoring practices.
• Participating in on-call rotations and handling incidents.
• Mentoring junior engineers.
• Contributing to architectural reviews.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Product Managers.
• Ensuring technical designs align with security and compliance standards.
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Evangelizing best practices.

Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of experience in SRE, software engineering, or systems engineering.
• Proficiency with at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, C#, Rust, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred).
• Solid understanding of networking and web technologies.
• Strong familiarity with CI/CD tooling and practices.
• Structured approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, observability tools, and scalable system design.
• Clear communication skills.
