Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking an Assistant Head of School to join their founding team at a new school in Wilton, Connecticut. This role involves working closely with the Head of School to ensure a high-quality learning experience for children, exceptional customer service to parents, and a supportive work environment for staff. The Assistant Head of School will focus on building community, working with parents, and leading community outreach initiatives.Role involves:
- Supporting the creation of a strong school culture.
- Planning and hosting community outreach events.
- Giving tours to prospective families and managing enrollment.
- Managing day-to-day operations, including billing and supply ordering.
- Interfacing with parents to build community and resolve concerns.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (CDA preferred).
- Early childhood education leadership experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Facility with computer systems.
- High degree of personal initiative.
