Senior Software Engineer - Caffeine (Frontend)

Job Description

DFINITY is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to Caffeine, an AI-driven no-code platform. This role involves in-office work in San Francisco three days a week. The engineer will be responsible for the complete software development lifecycle of key products, focusing on user-friendly interfaces and enhanced developer experiences.

What this role involves:

• Owning the complete software development lifecycle for key products.
• Designing and developing sophisticated and user-friendly interfaces.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of features from concept to deployment.
• Shaping UI architecture and maintaining shared component libraries.
• Collaborating with backend developers to create well-integrated APIs.
• Contributing to backend development (in Rust) as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in computer science.
• Significant experience leading frontend or full-stack engineering initiatives.
• Proven track record of shipping web applications for B2B and B2C audiences.
• Proficiency in modern frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React.
• Proactive and willing to contribute to backend development.
• Prioritization of user experience and maintainable code.
• Effective collaboration within a diverse, multi-time zone team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
