DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Altium is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team in Beijing. This role involves collaborating with software development departments to plan and document work, build and optimize CI/CD processes, and streamline automation efforts for server provisioning and application deployment. The engineer will also build resilient and scalable service infrastructure, deploy, monitor, and scale application services, mentor team members, and participate in project management and strategic planning.Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with software development departments.
• Planning and documenting work and projects.
• Building and optimizing CI/CD processes.
• Streamlining automation efforts for server provisioning and application deployment.
• Building resilient and scalable service infrastructure.
• Deploying, monitoring, and scaling application services.
• Mentoring team members and driving knowledge sharing.
• Participating in project management and strategic planning.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in a DevOps / SRE environment.
• 6+ years of experience working with Linux, Windows systems.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, Opensearch, S3, Storage, Route53 and network appliances.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as a Code approach (Terraform preferred).
• Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
• Good understanding of microservice architecture.
• Good experience in Monitoring k8s clusters, APM, services and infrastructure located in AWS (NewRelic).
• Ability to create automation tools in Go, Python, Bash, Powershell.
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery tools used with microservices.
