Job Description
BitGo is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Growth organization, focusing on enhancing client-facing products and experiences. The Engineering Manager will lead a team dedicated to building and improving user experiences, driving product growth through clear metrics. This role requires full-time onsite presence at the San Francisco office to foster team collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Build, mentor, and grow a skilled team of engineers.
- Ensure the team delivers innovative, high-quality work on time.
- Lead the strategy, development, and operations for BitGo’s web experiences.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and other business groups.
- Define, track, and improve KPIs related to client experience and product success.
- Promote best practices for building scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.
- Work with senior management to plan and prioritize work.
- Align the team’s work with BitGo’s company goals and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership in client-facing products.
- Effective people management skills.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in management.
- Commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Understanding of complex systems.
- Skilled in hiring and building diverse teams.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Proactive and decisive decision-making.
- Engineering degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
