Job Description
BitGo is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Growth organization, focusing on enhancing client-facing products and experiences. This role involves leading a team to build and improve user experiences that drive product growth. The Engineering Manager will manage projects, work autonomously, and take ownership of the team's impact on user interaction with BitGo. This position is based full-time onsite at BitGo's Toronto office.Role responsibilities include:
  • Building, mentoring, and growing a skilled team of engineers.
  • Fostering a culture of open communication, quality craftsmanship, and ownership.
  • Delivering innovative, high-quality work on time for BitGo’s client-facing products.
  • Leading the strategy, development, and operations for BitGo’s web experiences.
  • Collaborating with Product, Design, Operations, Support, Compliance, and other business groups.
  • Defining, tracking, and improving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to client experience and product success.
  • Promoting best practices for building scalable, maintainable, and secure client-focused systems.
  • Planning and prioritizing work to improve the client experience and contribute to business growth.
Requirements include:
  • Proven leadership in client-facing products.
  • Effective people management skills.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a management role.
  • Commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • Understanding of complex systems.
  • Skilled in hiring engineering talent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
