Graphcore is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join its Software leadership team in Bristol, UK. The Technical Product Manager will leverage Product Management methodologies to enable teams to deliver effectively and will help drive the roadmaps and strategy for the delivery of features across several engagements. The role involves working with engineers and business teams to understand customer demands.
The role involves:
Elaborating product requirements from Product Management.
Defining development features that cover the product requirements.
Building and sharing a compelling long-term technical vision and roadmap.
Acting as a focal point for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Translating technically complex details into simple communications.
Serving as a leader to bring alignment and create cohesion.
Developing plans with technical dependencies balancing trade-offs.
Supporting long-term planning and Programme Increment planning cycles.
Working with teams to manage their dependencies and risks.
Working with peers to improve wider working practices.
Requirements:
Experience in delivering technical programs/products from inception to release.
Experience in understanding user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
Experience operating across multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership.
A background of coaching best practice.
Strong communication skills.
Comfortable with change.
Actively enjoys dealing with and supporting people.
