Job Description
Bottomline, a global leader in business payments and cash management, is seeking a SWIFT Technical Consultant to join their SWIFT Operations team. This team is responsible for the day-to-day running of SWIFT message processing platforms, which are critical to Bottomline's customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a global operation, be process-oriented, and understand the challenges of creating scale, resilience, security, and availability.This role involves:
- Scaling and improving technical capabilities to drive higher service availability.
- Delivering technical, process, and organizational changes.
- Configuring and reviewing alerting and monitoring systems.
- Service restoration during incidents.
- Creating and updating service recovery runbooks.
- Collaborating with application experts to deliver "one-click" service recovery.
- Providing SME level support for cases.
- Configuring and delivering new customers and services to SWIFT platforms.
- Planning, testing, and deploying security patches, upgrades, and business continuity testing.
- Driving improvements in the SWIFT environment.
- Ensuring clear and accurate documentation.
- Participating in the on-call rota.
Requirements include:
- Formal training in Computer Science or IT.
- Knowledge of SWIFT Alliance Products, SAA, and SWIFTNet Server administration experience on Windows Server.
- A strong desire to work in a technical and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- High attention to detail.
