Job Description
LA28 is seeking a Paralegal to join their legal team. This role will support the legal team, focusing on commercial, revenue, and operational matters. The Paralegal will play an integral part in the organization as it prepares for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as paralegal support to the LA28 Legal Department.
- Maintain organized electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Prepare confidential correspondence, memos, and presentations.
- Update and maintain contract forms, prepare initial drafts, and track progress.
- Assist with litigation files and manage the discovery process.
- Maintain legal documents on LA28 websites and databases.
- Assist with light legal research and special projects.
- Provide occasional administrative office support.
Requirements:
- College degree required.
- 3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred.
- Concise grammatical skills and excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with contract management systems preferred.
- Ability to interact diplomatically with senior executives and external partners.
- Positive, team-oriented, and collaborative attitude.
- High level of personal integrity and professional ethics.
- Strong work ethic, client-service orientation, and sound judgment.
- Local candidates preferred.
