Memac Ogilvy is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Account Manager to lead strategic communications for a portfolio of clients. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving PR workstreams and campaigns across various areas.
Role Involves:
  • Developing and implementing communication strategies.
  • Managing media relations and press office functions.
  • Overseeing content development and messaging.
  • Engaging with influencers and stakeholders.
  • Managing crisis and issues communication.
  • Serving as the primary client contact.
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members.
  • Tracking and evaluating performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of PR account management experience, preferably in public, financial, destination, property, and retail sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex communication strategies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of regional and international media landscapes.
  • Proven experience in crisis management communications.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High level of political and cultural sensitivity.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adaptability and strong ethical grounding.
