Memac Ogilvy is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Account Manager to lead strategic communications for a portfolio of clients. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving PR workstreams and campaigns across various areas.
Role Involves:
- Developing and implementing communication strategies.
- Managing media relations and press office functions.
- Overseeing content development and messaging.
- Engaging with influencers and stakeholders.
- Managing crisis and issues communication.
- Serving as the primary client contact.
- Leading and mentoring junior team members.
- Tracking and evaluating performance.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of PR account management experience, preferably in public, financial, destination, property, and retail sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex communication strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of regional and international media landscapes.
- Proven experience in crisis management communications.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High level of political and cultural sensitivity.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
