Engineering Manager, Application Development (m/f/d)

Job Description

Affinidi is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their Affinidi Elements team. This role involves leading the enhancement and development of consumer-facing applications. The Engineering Manager will collaborate with global peers across product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and back/front-end engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in designing, architecting, and building quality systems, combined with leadership abilities to foster a high-performing team culture and facilitate the growth of team members.

Role Involves:

• Leading the engineering team to develop features and improvements to the Affinidi Elements product using Dart/Flutter.
• Collaborating on building the product and technology roadmap with peers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Owning the delivery of complex features and improvements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on larger projects.
• Advocating for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
• Guiding the team in crafting code that meets internal standards.
• Mentoring engineers in their career and professional growth.
• Creating a diverse, dynamic, collaborative, and transparent culture.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of overall experience.
• Strong experience with SDK design and lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Dart/Flutter and its ecosystem.
• Experience in multi-platform production development using Flutter.
• Experience in native mobile development on at least one platform (iOS or Android).
• Experience with performance and optimization problems.
• Strong experience leading teams in delivering production-quality products.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience with languages like Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, or React.
• Expertise in cloud computing and native environments (AWS serverless preferred).
