Job Description
Moloco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data Engineering) to join their Streaming Monetization (MSM) team. This role involves designing, implementing, and owning a scalable data infrastructure and pipeline that contributes directly to the analysis of petabyte-scale data used to train ML models. The Senior Data Engineer will work closely with architects, team leads, and product management to optimize ETL processes, data transformations, and integrate various data signals.
  • Designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Optimizing ETL processes and data transformations.
  • Integrating various data signals.
  • Building a data platform that scales to the needs of petabytes of data analysis.
  • Automating pipelines.
  • Developing ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Optimizing SQL queries.
  • Implementing data governance and consensus algorithms for data integrity.
  • Providing technical leadership.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience dealing with data at scale.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Golang).
  • Expertise in database technology and in-depth knowledge of SQL, indexing, partitioning, and sharding.
  • Working knowledge of distributed storage solutions and data warehousing (e.g., BQ, Databricks, Spark Airflow).
