Elastic is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive to expand its presence within state and local public sector accounts in Illinois and Missouri. The Account Executive will drive the adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to help customers transform data into actionable insights. They will champion open-source offerings and identify new use cases, collaborating with Elastic business functions to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will develop a business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive growth within their territory.Role involves:
- Driving adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search solutions.
- Assisting customers in harnessing the power of Elastic's search analytics.
- Championing Open Source offerings.
- Identifying and developing new use cases.
- Collaborating with Elastic business functions.
- Identifying new business opportunities and navigating sales cycles.
- Developing a comprehensive business plan.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in SaaS subscription sales.
- Understanding of Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, and Cloud solutions.
- Experience selling to state and local public sector organizations in Illinois and/or Missouri.
- Ability to build relationships with developers and executives.
- Sales forecasting skills using SFDC.
- Enthusiasm for the Open Source model.
