ESA is seeking a motivated Environmental Planner/Project Manager to join their Community Development Business Group in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in CEQA and/or NEPA analysis and documentation. Responsibilities: - Serve as project manager for moderately complex projects.
- Contribute to CEQA and NEPA documents for public and private sector clients.
- Conduct research on adopted plans, policies, and regulations.
- Manage project schedules, logistics, and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and teaming partners.
- Participate in business development activities.
- Perform quality control of project deliverables.
- Train and develop junior-level staff.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental planning, policy, science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including consulting experience.
- Experience with CEQA and/or NEPA documentation.
- Strong project management, business development, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
