3rd shift Maintenance Technician II

The company is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician II to provide competent and effective electrical and mechanical maintenance support to the plant and facility operations in a safe manner. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and repairing plant machinery to meet industry standards while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.

The role involves:

• Maintaining operations equipment following LOTO, GMP, and food safety practices.
• Installing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, formers, case erectors, wrappers, x-ray units, metal detectors, mixers, and industrial-sized ovens.
• Diagnosing problems, replacing and repairing parts, detecting and replacing defective items, testing, and making final adjustments for high-speed production equipment.
• Completing PMs efficiently and thoroughly.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an experienced level Industrial Production Mechanic, food production experience is a plus.
• Ability to work safely with electricity and experience with single and 3-phase circuits (480V required).
• Ability to read and use blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, required tools, and various types of standard testing equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift if required and flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
