Senior Support Engineer – Hybrid (Spain)

Job Description

Parsec Automation, LLC is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to maintain and optimize critical manufacturing .NET applications. The role is based in Vigo, Spain, and involves a hybrid work arrangement.

The Senior Support Engineer will provide advanced-level support, implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability of applications in a high-stakes manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing advanced-level support for critical .NET applications.
• Investigating and resolving escalated issues.
• Implementing and promoting SRE principles.
• Developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Automating repetitive tasks.
• Performing routine maintenance and updates.
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Documenting troubleshooting guides and best practices.
• Providing mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical support with .NET applications.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SRE practices.
• Proficiency in debugging and optimizing .NET applications (C#).
• Knowledge of SQL Server database systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
