Job Description
Clarity AI, a global tech company focused on societal impact, is seeking a Junior Data Operations Engineer to join their Data Strategy team. This role involves leveraging coding skills in Python and SQL to manage data from various sources and enhance the productivity of the research team. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating dynamic data assets, developing process automations, and delivering data effectively to both technical and non-technical teams.
Role Involves:
- Consulting data and using coding skills (Python and SQL) for managing data from different sources.
- Creating dynamic data assets for various use cases using DBT and Airflow.
- Developing process operations and automations by leveraging orchestration tools like Airflow, APIs.
- Delivering data through existing pipelines or supporting the creation of new ELT pipelines.
- Serving and explaining data effectively to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Offering technical support to business stakeholders for their operational needs.
- Supporting the configuration and integration of third-party tools and executing web scraping tasks.
Requirements:
- 2+ years industry experience in the data analytics and/or data engineering field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience creating Airflow DAGs or modeling using DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Familiarity with using web scraping tools like beautiful soup or selenium.
- A degree in a quantitative field (CS, Engineer, Math, Physics, … ). Masters degree preferred.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills. (Minimum C1 level-proficient user).
