Associate Director, Content Strategy

Job Description

Huge is seeking an Associate Director of Content Strategy to lead complex, multidisciplinary initiatives. This role involves defining content vision, architecting systems and governance models, and leading teams through implementation. The Associate Director will be at the center of large-scale digital transformation projects, from designing content models and IA systems to future-proofing content ecosystems with AI and emerging technologies.

What this role involves:

• Leading the definition and execution of content strategies across digital ecosystems.
• Architecting scalable content systems.
• Partnering with UX, tech, and design leads.
• Conducting content audits and qualitative/quantitative analyses.
• Defining and evolving enterprise-level content governance models.
• Facilitating workshops and interviews with cross-functional client stakeholders.
• Supporting content migration planning.
• Advising clients on emerging content capabilities.
• Defining and overseeing conversation models.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
• Contributing to the growth of Huge’s content strategy discipline.

What Huge is looking for:

• 8+ years leading content strategy, digital strategy, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in content architecture, metadata strategy, IA, and CMS/content delivery platforms.
• Experience designing and operationalizing large-scale content systems.
• Experience with AI-driven content applications.
• Fluency in the nuances of deterministic vs. generative AI.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise redesigns, e-commerce, or omnichannel experiences.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Clear, confident client communication and storytelling skills.
• Collaborative leadership style.
