Job Description
Fictiv is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in Bengaluru, India, supporting US business hours. Fictiv is transforming the manufacturing industry with its cloud platform that uses AI and machine learning algorithms. The Quality Control Inspector will report to the US Quality Manager and play a critical role in ensuring the quality of manufactured parts by performing remote inspections and collaborating with colleagues in India and the US.
What this role involves:
- Remote inspection of parts based on photographs and reports.
- Releasing conforming parts in Fictiv’s ERP system.
- Providing feedback to manufacturing partners regarding rejected parts.
- Entering nonconformance information into Fictiv’s system.
- Supporting on-time delivery performance.
- Collaborating on process improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing quality control experience.
- Minimum 3 years working US business hours.
- Experience with various manufacturing processes (3D printing, CNC machining, etc.).
- Good visual acuity.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- Self-starter with good time management skills.
- Excitement about remote inspection.
