Job Description
Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join their team. In this role, the Customer Success Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with customers in the commercial market, specifically within the agriculture, insurance, and energy verticals. The ideal candidate will help customers maximize the value of Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions, ensuring effective integration of Planet data into their workflows. Planet is a global company with employees working remotely worldwide and joining us from offices in San Francisco, Washington DC, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, and The Netherlands.Role involves:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial customers.
- Identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Facilitating training, onboarding, and best practices for integrating Planet data.
- Acting as the voice of the customer internally.
- Collaborating with sales, product, and marketing teams.
- Sharing insights on key accounts and contributing to strategy development.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or similar.
- Good working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery products.
- Excellent technical background and experience with remote sensing platforms and solutions.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with international customers & sales teams.
- Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive work style.
- Experience in earth observation and related fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel.
