Job Description
GI Alliance is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join their team in Columbia, SC. The provider will work under the direct supervision of a physician in both a hospital and clinic setting. SC-Sumter is supported by GI Alliance (GIA), a leading patient-focused gastroenterology network. This partnership allows SC-Sumter to deliver superior patient care with GIA's business and organizational support.Responsibilities:- Provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision
- Complete patient histories and physicals
- Determine tentative diagnoses and order lab tests
- Counsel patients and families on health and disease
- Participate in continuing education and training
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred
