Job Description
The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to manage cost accounting operations and drive strategic margin analysis. This role involves partnering with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to strengthen inventory controls, enhance costing processes, and provide actionable financial insights to leadership. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-driven, and possess strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, along with expertise in product costing and financial analysis.

What this role involves:
  • Leading detailed margin analysis for Pokémon Trading Card Game and Merchandise.
  • Analyzing product costs, inventory, and supply chain performance.
  • Overseeing evaluation of obsolete and excess inventory and managing reserve calculations.
  • Driving cross-departmental projects and process improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Requirements:
  • Eight (8) plus years of cost accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or production.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience preparing margin analysis.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and operational flows.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with major ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite preferred).
  • Complex understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
