Job Description
Orchard is seeking a Mortgage Closer to manage loan disclosures, closing processes, and prepare loan closing packages. This role involves coordinating loan closings, preparing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Mortgage Closer will work closely with title companies, attorneys, and other parties to facilitate smooth closings and resolve any post-closing issues. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within various states, requiring availability during East Coast or Central time zone hours.
What this role involves:
- Issuing Loan Estimates and disclosures.
- Coordinating loan closings.
- Preparing legal documents and closing packages.
- Reviewing loan documents for accuracy.
- Ensuring loans are closed in accordance with guidelines.
- Preparing and verifying final figures.
- Communicating with all parties to ensure a smooth closing process.
- Resolving post-closing issues.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of closing and disclosure experience.
- Experience in calculating financial figures.
- Understanding of IPCs.
- Experience with Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
