Mortgage Closer

Job Description

Orchard is seeking a Mortgage Closer to coordinate loan disclosures and closing packages for customers. This role involves preparing legal documents, reviewing loan documents for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Mortgage Closer will work closely with title companies, attorneys, and other parties to facilitate a smooth closing process.

• Issuing Loan Estimates and disclosures
• Coordinating loan closings
• Preparing legal documents and closing packages
• Creating and reviewing Closing Disclosures
• Ensuring loans are closed in accordance with guidelines
• Preparing and verifying final figures
• Reviewing executed closing documents for funding approval
• Calculating and ordering funding wires
• Communicating with all parties to ensure a smooth closing process
• Resolving post-closing issues

Requirements:

• 2+ years of closing and disclosure experience
• Experience in calculating financial figures
• Understanding of IPCs
• Experience with Conventional, FHA, and VA loans
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
