Job Description
Affirm is seeking a Senior Manager, Programs to reinforce its security culture. This role involves approaching security awareness from a behavioral perspective to mitigate human risk. The Senior Manager will contribute to building a culture of security within the organization by providing security training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices. They will drive complex technical security awareness projects, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to enhance consumer security content within the Affirm App and website.
Role involves:
- Designing and managing Affirm’s Security awareness program.
- Tracking progress, resolving dependencies, and communicating status to management.
- Facilitating Tech Org IT & Security meetings.
- Owning security communications to internal stakeholders & Affirm customers.
- Creating engaging security awareness materials.
- Developing and disseminating security documentation.
- Coordinating remediation for risks, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
- Enhancing the Security Champions program.
- Utilizing a behaviorally-driven metrics framework.
Requirements:
- Understanding of behavior science and/or psychology.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience developing and implementing security awareness programs.
- 6+ years of risk management, information security, or relevant experience.
- Experience with e-learning platforms.
- Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of risk and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 2700x, SOC2, PCI DSS).
