Job Description
OpenTable is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to contribute fresh ideas to its international marketing team. This role involves shaping the brand across Australia and Asia, focusing on content marketing and customer acquisition for both B2C and B2B sectors. The Senior Marketing Specialist will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing (APAC).

Responsibilities:
  • Campaign management: Overseeing the campaign briefing process, setting timelines, and managing marketing activities to drive brand awareness and reservations.
  • Content creation: Developing engaging copy for various platforms, including web, blog, email, and social media.
  • Digital and social strategy: Crafting social media plans and collaborating with influencers to amplify campaigns.
  • Event management: Planning and coordinating diner and restaurant events.
  • Go-to-market plans: Develop and carry out GTM strategies for new opportunity areas.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Working with local and international teams to enhance marketing performance.
  • Restaurant support: Partnering with sales and account management to provide marketing solutions.
  • Brand partnerships: Supporting the Senior Manager in third-party brand partnerships.
  • Analytics and optimisation: Monitoring performance data and improving strategies based on insights.
  • Market Insights: Staying current on competitor activity, market trends, and seasonal events.
  • Agency & Vendor Coordination: Managing external agencies for PR and campaign execution as needed.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally across multiple markets including Asia.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills (English fluency required; additional Asian language skills a plus).
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Experience completing campaign testing and making data-driven strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional collaborators across different regions.
  • Highly organised and diligent.
  • Experience in digital marketing and CMS management (WordPress preferred).
  • Comfortable with a range of marketing technologies.
