Job Description
Axon is seeking a Strategic Deployment Manager to oversee the implementation of its hardware and software products for law enforcement agencies. This role involves managing projects from initiation to successful deployment, ensuring alignment with client needs and timelines. The Strategic Deployment Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage large and complex implementations of Axon hardware and software products.
- Engage with technology users and decision-makers to guide successful deployments.
- Participate in pre-sales efforts, including scoping professional services and assisting with RFP/RFI responses.
- Manage project scope, timelines, communications, and status updates.
- Document customer feature requests and issues, providing feedback to stakeholders.
- Maintain project dashboards, manage risks, and ensure end-to-end implementation success.
- Partner with internal stakeholders from various departments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project deployment and coordination experience.
- 5+ years working collaboratively in complex environments.
- Experience utilizing technical project management tracking tools.
- SME-level knowledge of Axon products (preferred).
- Experience delivering device deployment, infrastructure, or enterprise applications projects to law enforcement or governmental entities (preferred).
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent training skills in live and virtual environments.
- Ability to manage multiple large and complex projects simultaneously.
