Sr. Engineer, IP/SOC Validation

Job Description

Tenstorrent is seeking a Sr. Engineer to join their IP/SOC validation team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and performance of Tenstorrent's cutting-edge AI compute solutions. The engineer will collaborate with validation leads, architecture, design, and verification teams to validate IPs and SoCs, meeting high standards of quality and performance.

• Implementing comprehensive validation plans and executing tests for IPs and SoC integration.
• Supporting the validation of SoC and IP blocks from pre-silicon stages to post-silicon bring-up and testing.
• Executing validation tests, focusing on functional correctness, integration, and real-world performance benchmarks.
• Documenting and reporting test results, identifying and tracking issues through to resolution.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining test cases and automation scripts.
• Debugging during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases, identifying and analyzing issues at the IP and system level.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SoC/IP validation.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
• Hands-on experience using debugging tools like JTAG, protocol analyzers, and logic analyzers.
