Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking a Sr. Engineer to join their IP/SOC validation teams. This role is crucial for validating the performance and functionality of Tenstorrent's silicon, ensuring the delivery of exceptional AI compute solutions. The position is hybrid and based out of Toronto, Canada, Santa Clara, CA, or Austin, TX.
The Role Involves:
- Collaborating with SoC/IP validation leads to implement comprehensive validation plans.
- Supporting the validation of SoC and IP blocks from pre-silicon to post-silicon stages.
- Executing validation tests, focusing on functional correctness and real-world performance.
- Documenting and reporting test results, identifying and tracking issues.
- Developing and maintaining test cases and automation scripts.
- Integrating tests into CI/CD frameworks.
- Assisting in maintaining and enhancing validation infrastructure.
- Supporting the debugging process during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
- Providing feedback on issues and collaborating with design, architecture, and software teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SoC/IP validation.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and shell scripting.
- Experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
- Hands-on experience using debugging tools like JTAG, protocol analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
