GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their Revenue Marketing team. This role is fully remote and based in Singapore. The BDR will lead initial outreach to targeted Enterprise accounts, collaborating with Field and Digital Marketing teams to generate qualified meetings and pipeline for GitLab's Sales organization.
The role involves:
- Managing inbound lead flow and executing outbound prospecting initiatives
- Conducting high-level discovery conversations in target accounts
- Meeting or exceeding BDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets
- Collaborating with teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging
- Researching accounts, identifying key players, generating interest, and developing accounts
- Using Outreach.io to manage and track activities and results
- Documenting processes in the GitLab handbook
- Collaborating with Field and Corporate Marketing to drive event attendance
- Mentoring new BDR hires
- Working with Digital Marketing to develop targeted marketing tactics
Requirements include:
- Professional proficiency in Indonesian
- Excitement for cross-functional work with sales and marketing
- Positive phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
- Self-starter with a track record of achievements
- Knowledge of business process, roles, and organizational structure
- Determined personality with a desire to grow and win
- Passionate about GitLab's journey
- Proficient in Salesforce and LinkedIn
- 2+ years of work experience in a professional environment
- Previous tech industry or sales development experience is a plus
- Outbound prospecting experience is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to use GitLab
