Job Description
Syndigo is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead software engineering teams in Poland. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, client management, business development, and process improvement. The Director will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of SaaS-based software applications built using Microsoft technologies. They will ensure operational excellence and cost-effectiveness in the entire software delivery lifecycle.

Role involves:
  • Leading software engineering teams.
  • Being responsible for software delivery of a broad product portfolio.
  • Ensuring operational excellence and cost-effectiveness in software delivery.
  • Strategic planning and team leadership.
  • Client management and business development.
  • Process improvement.

Requirements:
  • Experience with software delivery aspects.
  • Experience with Agile and other software development methodologies.
  • Experience with program management and project management.
  • Experience with building and leading software development teams.
  • Experience with SaaS products hosted in cloud platform (Microsoft Azure preferrable).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • 10+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on software development using Microsoft C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
