Job Description

Pharmbills is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to ensure smooth, clean, and trustworthy operations for U.S. healthcare clients. This is a remote, contract position requiring work during New York business hours. The Financial Data Analyst will work closely with the finance and billing teams, focusing on accuracy and attention to detail.

What the role involves:

• Classifying and reconciling financial transactions using QuickBooks Online.
• Supporting billing, accounts payable, and tax processes.
• Assisting in month-end closing activities with clarity and confidence.
• Building and managing databases and reports using SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
• Analyzing customer data to identify insights, trends, and process improvements.
• Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in finance or data analysis.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with structured data (JSON, XML).
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience in healthcare systems or benefits platforms.
