Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to develop and execute category strategies for the Sales & Marketing spend portfolio. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies.
  • Conduct spend analysis and market research.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience with at least 3 years in category management.
  • Expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience managing Sales & Marketing categories.
