Upgrade is seeking a Director of People and Culture to champion a purpose-driven, inclusive, and high-performing culture across the organization. This role involves leading a team of HR professionals, partnering with senior leadership, and driving strategies that elevate employee engagement and foster belonging.

The role involves:
  • Championing the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Leading the design and implementation of a cohesive people and culture strategy.
  • Coaching and mentoring a high-performing team of HR professionals.
  • Designing and launching enterprise-level initiatives to measure and improve employee engagement.
  • Developing and executing proactive employee relations strategies.
  • Providing expert counsel to leaders on conflict resolution and employee investigations.
  • Partnering with Legal and HR leadership to develop and operationalize policies.
  • Identifying current and future organizational capability needs.
  • Leading the development of dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in HR.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align employee relations initiatives with business goals.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
